Take down the family pictures!

Goals for Staging Each Room

Depersonalize the space
by removing family photos, trophies, posters, etc.

Clear high-traffic areas of excess furnishings to maximize feeling of space.

Highlight key features in each room, and make sure they are not obscured by plants or furnishings.

Create light and bright:  put lamps in rooms low on light, invest in skylight or sun tunnel in central areas, clean windows, let the light in.

De-clutter the shelves and closets.  Pack away the clothes you don't need.

Clear up your kitchen counters and bathroom sink area.

First impressions are lasting Impressions.   Improve that curb appeal.
